Drunk'n Fruit Parfait

Happy Valentines' Day!

If you are looking for that last minute dessert idea to really wow your sweetheart this evening, look no further! 'Drunk'n Fruit Partfaits' are an easy sweet treat that you can make ahead, and assemble right before eating. 


2 Cups Assorted Fresh Fruit (for this photo we used blackberries, strawberries, and peaches)

1 Cup Frozen Strawberries (with syrup) 

1 Tsp. Sugar 

2 Tbsp. Triple Sec 

1 Pint heavy whipping cream 

2 - 3 Tbsp. Powdered Sugar

Dark Chocolate Bar 

1 Large Orange 

Chocolate Crisp Cookies for garnish


1. {Fruit} Start by combining all of the fruit and frozen berries into a large bowl. Add sugar, triple sec and the zest of one orange (save a little zest for garnish). Refrigerate mixture until ready to serve. 

2. {Whipping Cream} Start by placing a large metal bowl in the freezer for at least 5 minutes. This step is so important! Your whipping cream will not set up correctly if the bowl is warm or room temperature. Once the bowl is cold, immediately pour whipping cream in and start whipping with a hand mixer (or Kitchen Aid if available). Slowly add in powdered sugar once the cream starts to form. You will know it is done when you can pull the mixer out and small white peaks stick to the end. Refrigerate until ready to serve. 

3. {Assemble} Start by placing fruit mixture into the bottom of your parfait bowls. Next top with whipped cream. For the garnish (my favorite part!) use a micro-blade to finely grate a dark chocolate bar on top. Finish with the remaining orange zest and a chocolate crisp cookie.
